Hello, and welcome to my blog. I'm Michael Baker, and the purpose of this blog is to provide some writing samples for potential employers and collaborators. (If you were expecting pictures of my cat, you're in the wrong place!)

While I have been creating content as writer and editor for roughly twenty years, much of it is owned by my previous employers or otherwise unavailable. Thus I am developing these samples from scratch as I flesh out this website on Wix.com.

My interests are a bit all over the place. Much of my professional work has been focused on software instruction and other technical subjects, but I also love music, movies, sports, cooking, and so on, so I'll try to mix things up a bit here.

To be honest, I'm looking forward to finding a new job and deactivating this website, but in the meantime, thank you for joining me on this journey and I hope you enjoy the ride!
